Modern Mustang Muscle stopped by Saleen’s shop for a test ride in a ShakerCharger equipped Saleen and recorded some video. Check out the video above to see the ShakerCharger system in action.
Drew over at Modern Mustang Muscle sent us a tip about a new product Saleen is set to announce for S197 Mustang owners, the ShakerCharger system. The ShakerCharger from Saleen will sit directly above the twin-screw supercharger to provide S197 owners with a functional shaker hood scoop and forced induction. The ShakerCharger hood scoop assembly is made from injection molded plastic, contains a high-flow air filter that is 50% larger then the OEM filter and requires a cutout in the hood to be installed. No prices have been released nor any official details but look for these kits to be available sometime in May.
This is Saleen’s entry-level performance car with 335 Horsepower & 345 lb-ft of torque. Comes complete with Racecraft Suspension, upgraded brakes, interior enhancements, 20″ wheels and more.
S281 Supercharged
The S281 Supercharged version comes with everything the base S281 has to offer and the addition of the Series VI Integrated Twin-Screw Supercharger that puts out 465 Horsepower and 425 lb-ft of torque. (more…)
